A talented and accomplished guitarist, Rusty Sweeton has been performing for over 20 years and enjoys playing all types of music from country to classical.

Rusty has performed and recorded with various acts over the years including The Idle Rich, High Country, Jill Sissel and his father Dan Sweeton. Rusty has also performed several times at the world famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, and on stage at the Grand Ole Opry House.

Rusty’s latest project is “Sweet’n 3”, an instrumental trio featuring Ed Cain on bass and Scott Kirk on drums and percussion. “Acoustic Diner” is Sweet’n 3’s first studio project and contains a couple of original compositions as well as arrangements of some familiar bluegrass, pop and classical tunes. On “Acoustic Diner”, Rusty plays the classical/nylon string guitar and the steel-string guitar.

Rusty and Sweet’n 3 perform regularly at various clubs, restaurants and events in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area and are favorites at the annual Tennessee Wine Festival held every May at the Nashville Superspeedway.
